In the summer of 2015, O-Ten suggested to Gucinari Shoes about reintroducing a shoe design based on the classic Thunderball slip-on ankle shoe, as worn by Sean Connery.
Many fans over the years have tried to locate this style, however since this shoe was only designed for this film, this proved near impossible.
Gucinari have successfully captured the spirit of recreating this iconic footwear and bringing it into the 21st Century, thus keeping faithful to the franchise of James Bond, while keeping within their own design branding.
This shoe is called 'James' by Gucinari.
