Hi,
Saturday 11th October is the official launch date for the James Bond Page on the O-Ten website. You will be able to see all the photos including all the info about some of the cars, watches, suits and gadgets which the character James Bond is renowned for and included in this photo shoot. I am so excited to show you these photos. This shoot has taken 2 months of research and planning, call it a labour of love as i have loved these films for many years. I would like to thank Micci for all her hard work, in between getting her EP release together (which will be available in November 2014.) All thank you's and acknowledgments for making this shoot happen will be on the James Bond Page from the launch date of 11th October. :) Chris x Hi,

The Calendar shows iconic landmarks of the City of Hull, shot from a fashion point of view. This is paving the way to showcase the beginning of the celebrations of Hull being the City of Culture 2017. I would like to thank Steve at V Richardson & Sons Ltd, who has kindly sponsored this Calendar and has done an amazing job, i cannot recommend this company enough for their professionalism and quality. For making the images possible, i would like to thank Kitty for her modelling skills and her professional manner through gale force winds and icy temperatures, as most of these images were shot in the Winter months. I would also like to thank Micci who edited and photoshopped these images ready to be compiled into this Calendar. Lastly, Nick from Hull Mag for his continued support by running up a few prototypes to enable me to take these to meetings to secure my distribution. Thanks to all the retailers for all their support in stocking my product. On sale from this weekend (6th September) to coincide with Freedom Festival. Chris x It has been a while since i have done a shoot with my muse, Kitty. It is hard to pin her down as she is very busy touring the UK. Here is a shoot that we did recently. I wanted this to be inspired by one of the photographers whom i admire, Helmut Newton. I have just sent these images to Kitty, so some of the photos will be available to see via her Facebook and O-Ten's Facebook and Twitter. Some of the shots will be classed as too explicit for networking sites, so you can find some of the photos spread across my website, including my Fine Art page. I am taking bookings for any kind of interesting work, so please contact me directly with your ideas and budget, so we can discuss this further to make your vision come true. My photographic work is varied so please do not assume that we cannot work together, message me, i do not bite lol :) More photos uploaded soon from more exciting new shoots in April 2014. Cheers for reading this, enjoy the photos :) Chris x Wow just when i thought it couldn't get any better, there is now a link on the Sir Roger Moore fan site to take you to O-Ten's tribute to The Saint. Here is a photo link to Sir Roger Moore Fan Site... Also here it is on the Sir Roger Moore Facebook Page... A letter with copies of Hull Mag and selected photos are now on their way to Sir Roger Moore.
It is such a huge pleasure to see O-Ten on the Sir Roger Moore fan site and all the great feedback i am receiving, even receiving complimentary messages as far afield as the USA. All this great feedback has made all the research and hard work that all concerned put into this worth while. It is nice to be appreciated. Chris x The Saint shoot was just an enjoyable experience and everybody who was involved had such a great time too. The photos will now be circulated around the magazines. To kick off, O-Ten is extremely delighted to see a 2 page feature in April 2014 edition of Hull Mag. We have also been given the front page of Hull mag also (see left photo). This goes to many households and businesses across the City of Hull and the surrounding areas. A huge thank you to Nic at Hull Mag for this amazing feature. Micci Lou did an amazing job meeting his deadline for April's edition with only a few days before going to press. The Saint photos are now going to Roger Moore (who played Simon Templar in the ITC show The Saint) to get a few of the photos signed, so they can be proudly placed in frames alongside my signed photo from Richard Bradford who played McGill in another ITC classic 60's show Man in a Suitcase. I am always on the look out for any other ideas for shoots, so if you have any suggestions please get in touch and we could arrange something together.
Cheers for taking the time to read this Blog, there are more unseen photos on The Saint page on my website. Chris O-Ten Photography Hey all!
The Saint shoot is a tribute to the cult ITC TV show starring Roger Moore from the 1960's. It has been in the planning for 2 months and i was lucky enough to have the actual car that Roger drove in the show. The car is a Volvo P1800, reg No: 71 DXC aka ST1. Everything was set for the shoot, however, one week before the shoot happened i had a major epileptic seizure at the top of the stairs, i fell from the top to the bottom during my seizure. I ended up in hospital for 2 days. I had broken a few of my bones between my shoulder blades and neck, so serious this was, there was even talk of neurosurgery. They said i must have a saint looking over me as i was close to ending up permanently in a wheelchair. I never thought i would be able to fulfil this shoot, everybody suggested that i cancelled it. However, i pride myself in being a professional and the show must go on under any circumstance, no matter how much pain i was in during the shoot. I did the job and i am exceptionally happy with the results :) I did over do it on the day, thus i had a relapse for 2 days, so now i am just going to be taking it easy for a while, if i ever know what this means lol. I hope you love the photos as much as i do. If you haven't seen any of the original The Saint shows, i highly recommend them! They are still available to buy from Amazon as box sets. Here is a link to the dedicated page on my website - The Saint. Enjoy, Chris xx It does sound nuts at the beginning of 2014 to put together a calendar for 2015. However this is now completed and I am very happy with the results :) A big thank you to Micci Lou for photo editing and photoshopping the remaining 7 photos to add to the photoshopped pics that Ziplodocus did. Last but certainly not least my muse Kitty, who is Red Riding Hull throughout the calendar. Below is the front cover. Red Riding Hull shows a few of the key landmarks of the City of Hull. Red Riding Hull character symbolises the poppy, never forgetting the past as we progress forward.
The calendar will be available to buy later in the year. Chris x We at O-Ten would like to wish you a very Happy New Year! We hope it will be as prosperous for you as we are hoping it will be for O-Ten too.
The latest project O-Ten is putting together is for a recreation of the 1960's series The Saint. So very soon we shall be on the look out for a male model who could fill the shoes of Roger Moore as Simon Templar for this photo shoot. So if you know of anybody who would like to be Simon Templar for the day please get in touch, we love to discover fresh new talent! Also O-Ten is looking for any aspiring models who would like stunning photos for their portfolio. If you book for more than one shoot O-Ten will give you a fantastic discount! O-Ten is open to all kinds of photography, whether you would like a family photo, a gift for a friend, or something more edgy, so please get in touch to book your shoot, we look forward to hearing from you :) Happy New Year! Chris x Wow well last Thursday went amazingly well at the Leeds Gallery Munro House! It was great to catch up with friends that i haven't seen in ages, i would like to thank them all for coming and supporting this Yorkshire exhibition. i would also like to thank the Calendar team for supporting this event. The exhibition runs from now to 19th November 2013, so you can still go and have a look at all the fantastic photos/ prints exhibited. I have just shot more photos of Kitty as Red Riding Hull as a calendar is now in the making for 2015. So there will be 12 iconic landmarks of Hull in this calendar. Kitty, professional as always, soldiered on in the gale force winds with the red riding cape, she knows she has to suffer for her art lol! :) Chris x Here is the link to the Calendar Interview |
